@sireax

Set up a 301 redirect.
Wait for the PF statistics for /main.
Refine the content of /main so that it goes out from under the NKS filter.

These are server settings and are not entirely related to SEO, but I will try to give a direction where to "dig".
If your server allows you to make settings through the .htaccess file, then you can change the main page through the directoryindex rule.
In this case, with the correct setting :

  • the site will open by default on the page you configured
  • when you click on the logo, the page configured by you instead of "/" will also open, as the Home page.

If you need to open site.example/main as Main, then an approximate algorithm is as follows:
  1. You will need access to your hosting control panel or FTP (for FTP access, use an FTP client such as FileZilla)
  2. In the "root" of the site on the server, find the .htaccess file
  3. Download to PC (if using FileZilla)
  4. Open edit file .htaccess (in the hosting control panel just opens to "edit")
  5. Edit a file downloaded to a PC, preferably with Notepad ++
  6. At the very top of the file, write: DirectoryIndex / main
  7. Save, upload the file back to the server with the replacement of the old one
  8. Reset the cache on the site / browser and check the result.

Attention:
  1. Before making any such manipulations with the site, first make a backup of the Site Database!
  2. The option I provided may not suit your site due to server configuration

PS You can send the solution I proposed in a technical support ticket for your hosting and ask if it is possible to make such a setting on your server and whether it will work as you need.
Hosting technical support knows the answer to this question for sure and can even tell you for free whether the rule for .htaccess is correct.
