Windows PE in Docker?
Hello everyone
. I am writing a deployment system (PowerShell scripts) of wim images from under WinPE, that is, the machine is loaded into Windows PE, where my scripts and GUI are automatically launched, where the user selects different settings, after which the scripts continue to work and deploy the selected image from wim file to the machine.
For testing, I have to use physical hardware, that is, I keep scripts and wim-files on a USB-drive from which I boot.
Now the question is - is there anything that can be done to test this all locally in Docker? And moreover, I would like to immediately organize local automatic deployment and launch testing in Docker.
If possible, please step by step - how to do it? The first thing that confuses me is that docker needs a specific OS, but I don’t have it, I need the machine to boot from external media ...
