Windows 7 hangs on Supermicro with LSI MegaRAID?
So, there is a Supermicro Superserver 6028P-E1CR12L server with 5 RAID (not built-in controller LSI MegaRAID SAS 9341-4i, all 12 disks in one device). When installing Win7 immediately after re-partitioning the RAID or after formatting the virtual disk, the installation proceeds normally (with the driver plugged into the controller). But! If you reinstall the OS while slipping the RAID driver, the process of installing it lasts forever. Also, after a successful installation, in some cases, after turning off the server, another problem arises: the launch of the OS at the stage of the animated logo also lasts indefinitely.

The RAID driver is apparently not for windows 7 so there is no guarantee that it will work properly with it.
