I create an Excel/Word/txt file on my desktop.

When you try to open this file, you get the error The folder name is incorrect
. It refers to a file on the desktop only in the One Drive folder.

PS Google didn't ban me, but I didn't find this particular problem there.

the original "desktop" folder is deleted if you agree to the option to archive your desktop, documents, and pictures, which is offered by default. and this can lead to failures in some situations
for myself I chose the solution through linking these folders from the OneDrive storage to the original locations. for the desktop, for example

mklink /d %HOMEPATH%\Desktop %HOMEPATH%\OneDrive\"Рабочий стол"

or with Far - Alt-F6
