Will windows 10 be activated with an oem 8 windows key? Or should I shoot the image of the partition with an acronis so that I can reinstall it if something?

In general, I want to put 8 on the laptop and then upgrade to 10.
However, as we all know very well, windows has properties to download. Need to reinstall.
So I think how it will be with the reinstallation. If 10 does not eat the key from 8, then you will have to set 8 and then update to 10. And tomorrow it will cost money.

I bought a laptop with a figure eight (not 8.1). Ten installed on a blank disk. I didn’t enter the keys, after installation, the Windows itself pulled up the key sewn into the board and activated. The main thing is to put the correct edition of the dozens.

and so put the 8.1 license then update to 10 ku, so 10 ki had an activation key another widely available on the Internet
At the moment, keys are available for updating Windows 10 between editions:
Windows 10 Home: --- TX9XD-98N7V-6WMQ6-BX7FG -H8Q99
WIndows 10 Pro: --- VK7JG-NPHTM-C97JM-9MPGT-3V66T
Windows 10 Home Single Language --- 7HNRX-D7KGG-3K4RQ-4WPJ4-YTDFH
Windows 10 Enterprise: --- NPPR9-FWDCX-D2C8J-H872K- 2YT43
how it will be after the 29th, let's see they say that the activation key will be tied to the account in microsoft and when the system is reinstalled it will be installed back naturally for this you need to use the ms account
also if you install the axis and it will receive activation it should and then work quietly

Ilya bow ,
Forget the XP times. At the moment, this is a much more stable system. For example, I have never reinstalled the system in the last 4 years, only updated - Win8 ->Win8.1 ->Win10. I can't imagine what needs to be done to make it "pokakat".
As for the topic of the question, preparing a bootable flash drive before installation is a program from Microsoft from the current system. With this method, no key entry is required during installation.
