Mac Mini
Alexander, 2016-09-15 15:11:06

Will there be enough Mac mini hardware for the frontend?

I think either to upgrade my computer or switch to a poppy for layout, fronted, but I don’t know if there is enough hardware for the necessary tasks (node.js, gulp, git. photoshop). Who uses Mini, please share your experience.
Hardware configuration:
Processor: Intel® Core™ i5
Processor frequency (MHz): 1400
RAM (MB): 4096
Video card: Intel® HD Graphics 5000

@ZUSS

Take a mac mini starting from 2012 (Late 2012), install an SSD and at least 8GB of memory (16 is better :-) ) Do not take a new one, since its upgrade is difficult, and the performance gain is not great at all.
Well, the top percent has already been advised to you.

The surest way is to first rent a VPS with similar characteristics, connect via good internet and check it out.
