There are identical hard drives, only the memory capacity of one is 500 GB, and the other is 640 GB, the question is - will the board of one fit on the other? (on the hdd 640 GB the board burned out)

Depends on many factors, sometimes yes, often no. Sometimes, even with a suitable board, you need to rewrite adaptives or firmware (or rearrange the flash drive).

The revision is indicated on the board. If it matches, you can change it (be sure to transfer all the ROMs from the original to the donor)
Are you sure that the board burned out? What are the symptoms?
