Will my MacBook Air battery go bad?
I use a MacBook Air as a system unit, with a monitor connected to it, a touchpad and a keyboard. According to the instructions for use in this mode, the MacBook must always be connected to the network. I know that the battery does not deteriorate if it is 100% charged and the power is constantly connected, but when I finish work, I disconnect it from the power supply (I consider it unsafe to leave it with power for a long time). Then, when I turn it on again, it often turns out that the battery has discharged by 3-5% during idle time. Actually the question is: how harmful is this mode of operation for the battery and is it harmful at all? If it is harmful, then how to avoid it and if someone uses a laptop in a similar mode, then how do you do it?

Not harmful: your laptop will become obsolete before the battery runs out.
And unplugging it is superfluous.
When I was in the service, they said that if it is constantly charging, then it is necessary to let the battery work at least once a month.
Usually served in macmachine.ru . I also asked a lot of questions when replacing the battery :-) They said that
no need to worry, because all batteries are modern lithium and they rarely last more than 1000 cycles. Or 3-5 years regardless of cycles. Akb is a consumable. You can always replace. Technology is for man, not man for technology!
