Is it possible to use the MagicMouse 1 mouse on a MacBook not through the built-in bluetooth, but through a whistle (small external adapter)?

The system itself has ceased to see the built-in bluetooth module.
Can I just buy a little USB for bluetooth and link the mouse through it (I never learned how to work as a trackpad in Photoshop)
