Will economic or IT education be better for a future businessman?
Good afternoon to all TOSTER readers! I am studying IT specialty, namely, computational technology. In the future, when I graduate from university, I want to go into business right away. Here is a question: what specialty will be a good basis for an entrepreneur?

Well, there are two options 1) If you know / will study programming well 2) If you know / will study economic aspects well
1) Economic education, I advise you to take a closer look at banking (I myself go there, because I study programming and I want to learn more about economic aspects) , firstly, a good knowledge base for starting a business + HUGE opportunities to meet, make connections
2) IT education, only if you are familiar with / will be familiar with the economy or have friends in this area
I advise you the first option, because learning to program is a little easier than studying economics, I’m not talking about theory, but in general terms, because it’s a little more difficult to establish connections in the IT department
I have two educations: physics and MBA. IMHO, it is easier to teach a physicist to teach economics than to transform an economist into an IT specialist, or at least just a techie. And experience shows that for successful entrepreneurship, it is also important to be able to think with your head. Lots of factors out there.
