Wi-Fi router for the office (6 PCs + other devices) D-link Dir-300 does not pull them?

Hello!
There is an office, 40 sq.m.
It has 5 laptops and 1 PC (connected via Wi-Fi)
IP telephony (2 devices connected by twisted pair cable)
Tablets and phones (connected via Wi-Fi)
Employees use the bowser a lot, work in a CRM system that adds / edits data in MySQL database on remote hosting.
About 50-70 GB of traffic per month.
A twisted pair cable comes to the office, it has 8Mbps.
The D-link dir-300 router distributes this Internet to all devices via Wi-Fi.
There is no particular desire to litter the space with wires.

Recently, there have been difficulties with the Internet:
1) sometimes it just disappears, rebooting the router helps
2) sometimes it disappears on all computers and after a minute everything is restored
. These problems occur from one to several times a day.
It is necessary that the Internet works like clockwork, pages open as quickly as possible on laptops and PCs.
I think that the device does not pull, but just in case, I decided to ask a number of questions here:
1) Should I first do some testing of the line, router, or boldly go for a new router?
2) If something is tested - what exactly and how
3) If you boldly go to the store - what is better to buy for my case and why?
After reading other topics, I singled out companies for myself: TP-Link, Zyxel, LinkSys.
I think it would be wise to buy a router with a USB port and a print server so that you can make a laser printer accessible from all devices via Wi-Fi.
Well, if there is a second USB, use it to quickly exchange files via an FTP server (as I understand it, you can even plug a flash drive into it and configure it as a network folder for users, right?)
I think with a view to the future and take these functions -LINK TL-WDR3600, but if there are cheaper or better options, please suggest.
Print server and FTP server are not decisive in the choice.
Now the office uses several printers and file sharing is implemented through Yandex Disk.
In any case, thanks for the replies!

in 99% of cases, when I find out that d-link SOHO is being distributed in the office, I suggest immediately changing it to something intelligible. yes, at least on MikroTik. because even if the hardware in d-link is normal, then the software there will work crookedly at some point anyway.
Linksys is bad too, because there is only a sticker from cisco.
zyxel is good, but only if you want to take keenetic, then omni, giga II and the like, not 4g at all, because you will run into a cheap wi-fi path.
tp-link is Chinese, similar to d-link, but the software is better.
but in general, if you take a router, then it should normally just perform its functions, i.e. route the network, distribute the Internet with wi-fi'ami and that's it. he should not brew coffee from the category of "print server" and "flash drive".
my advice is to take a normal MikroTik like the rb2011 series or rb951 series, this is your d-link if you really want to put the print server to the printer as a Wi-Fi client. or take what is cheaper and you will again sit and repair the Internet in the office))

There is no particular desire to litter the space with wires.

Then keep having sex with WiFi.
Gigabit switch for 8 ports and wires.
I would transfer the clients involved in business (a computer and laptops) to wires. Immediately, the load on WiFi will drop by half, or even more, the problems will go away or become rare.

You have two main problems:
1) wifi router dir 300 just drops from the load. unfortunately, he does not pull torrents with many connections in ordinary houses.
2) 1) Should you first do some testing of the line, router, or boldly go for a new router?
Now
Problem number 2 follows from this - the congestion of wifi channels at a frequency of 2.4 MHz. For example, in Novosibirsk, in high-rise buildings, up to hundreds of Wi-Fi points can easily get into the network. They are interrupted with each other, and wifi stupidly does not work. The solution is to work with everyone on the wire, or take a 5 MHz router, where the network is even more or less free (out of these 100 points, a maximum of 2-3 for 5 MHz).
In this case, if necessary, you should change the parameters of the wifi adapters that connect to the system.
3) and by the type of router itself, it is better to try to build on the budget

An office on a waffle is an asshole - a fact confirmed more than once. If you need Wi-Fi, then take something like Linksys or Mikroti, and not the guano that you have.

Try to play with the channels on the router.
Scan networks around and see which channels are clogged and choose a free one.
Also, the point must be placed on the blown place.

Dir-300 has at least 4 revisions A, B1, B5, D1 The higher the iron is more powerful. What do you have? And yes, the software of the extensions itself is buggy, the firmware can be changed to something more intelligible Openwrt for example. Even in the DIR-300 revision B5-B7, you can upload the firmware from Kenetic Start, it will be more stable on it. You also need to stick a radiator on the CPU so that it does not overheat.
By replacement - if the budget is severely curtailed, you can take TP-Link TL-WR842, flash it with Openwrt.
If money is not a pity - then as advised above - buy Mikrotik. Set once and forget. True, sometimes you can run into marriage.
