Why won't the proprietary drivers v 340.108 install on Ubuntu 20.04.4?
I wanted to install drivers for the geforce 9600gt video card, but they are not installed, only open software works with x org x xord server, but they hang the whole system for me when I open the browser. Proc core2quad q8300, 1tb hdd, 8gb ddr 2 to 800, vidyaha 9600gt) The latest versions of firewood are 340.108 but they are not installed. I sat on window 7 for 10 years, I didn’t observe 10 such freezes (swap is disabled, I didn’t notice the difference, I thought the swap file hangs the system, but no.
