Why won't my macbook pro 2017 15 turn on?
Good afternoon.
I have a macbook pro 2017 (15" touch bar). Works for almost a year without complaints. 19 battery cycles.
I did not turn on the poppy for about a week. Today I turned it on (charging 89% and charging is in progress). I went to safari (YouTube) and went to get headphones. I come, and the poppy is turned off. Doesn't register for anything. Does not turn on. When I connect the charger to the poppy, there is no sound.
Did not fall, did not fill with water. In perfect condition. I blow the dust off it.
Maybe someone had the same? What to do?

I caught a similar glitch on the same configuration, it was cured by holding Power (Touch ID) for about 10 seconds, then again until the apple.
If it does not help, then try Resetting the SMC by turning off the charging first, and then with charging.
I had a similar experience at the age of 16 and I hope that you did not suffer the same fate.
In my case, the power controller was covered, maybe you didn’t pay attention initially, but the battery icon was black with a lightning bolt? When charging, the battery must be empty and inside the zipper. I also had a black icon and standing on the charge - the laptop was discharged. There are a lot of similar problems on the epl forum for both the 16th and 17th years!
But let's hope that you will let it go, as there have been cases with others - when the laptop went into a deep sleep and woke up only after a couple of hours while standing on charge.
I gave it to the service. I'll post when I know the results. Maybe this thread will help someone.
