How to tabulate code in Xcode?

I select a piece of code - I press tab - everything is erased. I asked a couple of people - I heard "I do Ctrl + X and then I put tabs and Ctrl + V". (no, they do not have the second axis of the gent).
So, how, with what hotkeys is it normal to drag the selected piece of code left and right in Xcode?

Fast text formatting Cmd+A (select all text) and then Ctrl+i, the same works just with any selected piece of code or with the line on which the cursor is located
