Why notarize when translating a diploma?
Specific case: Russian->English diploma translation for a university in an English-speaking country, in almost all cases there will be notarizations in Russian. There should also be a drum in this case for this legal formality.

in my case, it was necessary to do the so-called "nostrification" of the diploma (ie, its recognition by the country). This required notarization and translation into the language of the country.
Notarial certification for its recognition by other states must be apostilled. In some countries, the documents translated by an accredited translator are certified directly by the consulate itself. (e.g. Italy)
Following the example of the Czech Republic: the translation should be done by a court translator from the Czech Republic, who will make the translation and certify it.
