Why not immediately release a processor with the maximum number of transistors?

Why don't they immediately release the most powerful processor or vidyuhi? Why are the capacities increasing slowly?

Why do people get sick and die?
Why not invent a pill of immortality?
The dumbest question.

If working with a processor that will have max. number of transistors, then it will eat a huge amount of resources. Yes, and for each task its processor will be optimal

take into account the most powerful, kr0000toy and high-speed computer is needed only by nerds - and this is less than one tenth of a percent of the market. they work out the jambs of all advanced technologies.
other buyers choose computers based on the ratio of their needs and the offered price.
and the leading edge of cool computers is characterized by excessive price inflection with a relatively small gain in resources.

processor with maximum number of transistors

What is the maximum number of transistors? Which will fit on the surface of the Earth, or which will have enough matter on Earth or in the solar system or in the entire universe?
We are not in a computer toy where the development of processors is limited to N transistors.
And most importantly - transistors are not the main thing. An elephant has more brains than a person (both in mass and in volume and in the number of synapses), but it’s not a fact that there is more intelligence (even self-awareness, apparently, is not)
Again, the most powerful is how many in watts? After 90 watts of the fourth stump, I don’t really want the “most powerful” even. And why did you decide that there is some kind of insurmountable power limit that "we" are able to reach right now.

Because the production process follows the development process. It is impossible to produce what is unknown.
