Why is torrent bad for HDD?

I heard that he beats the sector on it, due to overclocking, recording and frequent stops. If so, why?

Living is bad. Somewhere you scratch, somewhere you strain, somewhere you ate the wrong whitewash.
The same with screws - any load is harmful for them and leads to degradation. Someday. Just get used to the idea that screws are a consumable item, and the load, including torrents, is NORMAL. That's what they are made for.

It does not hit, there is a write cache.

Harmful but for completely different reasons, it creates a fucking random load on the disk, because of this I want to die faster, but a three-year warranty is enough for you

due to overclocking, recording and frequent stopping

green WD screws suffer from this, which sometimes stop if there is no access to them, store important data on another physical hard drive and don’t worry
