Why can't Raspberry PI 2 B see external USB HDD?

Good time of the day everyone!
with a new complete reinstallation of Raspbian on PI 2, I decided to transfer the external HDD (usb 2.5) to ntfs (so that I can hook it under windows without problems in the future).
Prior to that, it was formatted in Unix format. And was without problems.
I inserted it into a computer with Windows 10, recreated the partition and transferred it to ntfs with a quick format.
I stuck it back in PI and it stopped being visible.
sudo fdisk -l
or
sudo blkid
doesn't see it. I thought maybe there was not enough power (although it used to be enough), I stuck it through a hub with external power. The situation has not changed. On a computer in Windows 10 without problems, I see and turn to it. (the necessary packages for ntfs are installed). What would you recommend next steps? from ntfs it would not be desirable to refuse.
Thank you

Solution:
The problem was all the same in the diet. When adding the line max_usb_current=1 to the /boot/config.txt file, the disk appeared (thus I increased the usb current from the standard 600 milliamps to 1.2 A. I found it from the Germans www.plantoschka.com/plantoschka/2015/2/8/raspberry ...
If anyone can help, use it too.

@MaxDukov

try the other way around - create an ntfs partition in raspberry, and then mount it in Windows.

Do you have modules for ntfs? Loaded? What's in dmesg?
