Why is there a black screen when installing Linux?

The video card in the laptop burned out, when trying to install any Linux black screen. Now I tried live kali linux, it started up, but only if I put two video cards in the BIOS, if I put one (Intel, working) then just a black screen. Kali started, but with artifacts. Can I somehow solve this, I want to install majaro.

Well, apparently due to the fact that it burned down, and problems? What laptop, what video cards are there? It is possible that disabling the second video card in the BIOS does not disable it completely, Linux starts up, sees it and tries to display an image through it.

Pull the disk from the laptop, stick it into the working hardware and roll the system. The card itself is physically scrapped. Then return the disk to its place. Should start.
