Why is the same Virtualbox server accessible from under Windows and not available from under Mac?
Good evening
. There is a fully configured web server (Ubuntu) with running hosts and applications, and an image enclosed in .ova with the necessary settings, port forwarding, etc.
I install Virtualbox on Windows, open this image, everything starts successfully. Then in Windows in the browser I open 127.0.01:4444 - and I get what I expected, everything is fine, no unnecessary movements!
If I do the same on MacOS Sierra, then the launch of Virtualbox and the image is just as successful, but when I access the above address in the browser, I get "Unable to access the site. The connection was reset."
In the console, I see if the port is listening, everything is fine there:
VirtualBox 32950 user 42u IPv4 0x87e5f60146d25647 0t0 TCP *: 4444 (LISTEN)
Where to dig and what could be the matter?
I am more than confident in a properly configured .ova image, since many of my colleagues use it (unfortunately, mostly from under Windows)

I'm not familiar with poppies, but maybe blocking the firewall in a poppy?
Check (compare with the working version) the settings of the virtual machine's network adapter: Settings > Network > Connection type; and also: Settings > Network > Advanced > Port Forwarding.
