Why is the network profile desktop slowing down?

User profiles are located on a file server, with the aim of:
1. Backup on the network.
2. The ability to go to the terminal and work with your documents.
3. PC hot-swappable, no file transfer.
And then I ran into a problem. Users with heavy (up to 5-20GB) network profiles experience severe freezes when moving files, up to restarting the explorer.
What could be causing the problem?
