Why is the distance between blocks not measured in Figma?

Good afternoon!

Some of the layouts that I have duplicated do not have the ability to automatically determine the distance between blocks. Shows distance only when holding alt.
I determine the distance in a standard way: I select an object and move the mouse over another object, the distance to which I am trying to calculate.
I've been using Figma for a couple of days now. I've seen other threads but the problem is not exactly the same.

In general, everything worked miraculously when I went to the inspect tab, found the code section there and clicked on the display switch from code to table and back. And I don't know how or why, but it worked. Maybe someone will come in handy.
