How to make a master component (symbol) in Adobe XD?

Actually, it’s like in a figma - you can twirl anything for copy-instances, but if we change the master component, then all the children will react to it.
I only see that you can detach symbol - but then what's the point in symbols? How to make, for example, a list, if you need to change not only the text?
