Why is inactive memory eating half of mac os RAM?
Recently, it has become often knocked out of final cut pro 10. Inactive memory eats up half of the RAM. I have an imac 2011 with 16gb ram.
There is nothing in the login object (autoload), I know about purge. I don’t open any more programs, that is, I just rebooted the poppy, and after about half an hour it knocks out final cut pro, although when it does. Is there some program or utility that can limit inactive memory?
