Why don't video cards work in the x16 slot?

The gigabyte 1030 LP and eax1050 video cards do not work in the x16 slot of the gigabyte ga-z77p-d3h motherboard. In x4 slot they work. On another motherboard too. NIC x1 in x16 slot works. What could be the problem?
UPD:
I localized the problem, if you insert it skewed and do not fix it, then they work. I think the connector pins are bent. How can they be straightened?
