Why doesn't the timeshift backup application start?

I make backups using timeshift, but the program's graphical interface does not start. The program icon flickers and goes out. The program itself can only be run from a terminal with root rights.
Who knows how to solve this problem?

Write a script for the system manager: systemd, upstart, or whatever is in the system
Option2: register in cron.
