Why doesn't the part number of the RAM match the label?

Hello. The other day I bought AMD R9S416G3206U2K memory. The label says part number R9S416G3206U2K . However, all test programs show a different part number: R9S48G3206U2S . This is a different memory, a different product. Why?

Everything is fine with you. They didn’t sew up the bar (but should they?) The fact that they are going to sell it in a set of two.
The last letter in the label is pretty obvious: K=kit, S=single.
You can stick different markings on the same planks and sell them either individually or in pairs.
Simple marketing.

See volume. If the die has 16, then everything is ok.
If 8, then you were thrown.
