Why doesn't the open button work on an external DVD drive connected to a media player?
HD media player: 3Q F370HW
Opt. drive: Transcend DVD±RW TS8XDVDRW-K External USB 2.0 Black Retail
Having bought a media player and an external opt. drive, ran into a problem: the open button does not work. Moreover, it stops working after the disc is inserted and read. If there is no disk, or the first seconds of reading, it opens normally.
I tried to reflash in Iconbit XDS8003D, stop playback, all the buttons on the remote control, rummaged through all the settings, but all to no avail. You can eject the drive only by disconnecting and reconnecting the drive.
Maybe someone had a similar problem, or have an idea what can be done here? Thanks in advance for any help.
UPD. Yes, if anyone has this, or a similar model of a media player with an external opt. drive, write if the open button works for you, maybe I just bought an unsuccessful model.
