Why doesn't the AppStore skip the app for two months?

Good afternoon.
App is 5 years old. The check was always quick, but in May, a month hung in the “under check” status without explaining any reasons. They took it off - they filled in a new one (the functionality has already accumulated), and again it hangs "on verification". We do not break anything according to all the rules, all letters are answered with “... we understand, wait, etc.”, no specifics, even why it is not rejected.
I don’t even know what to do yet (Tell me, can anyone come across a similar problem?
