Why doesn't it display the translation from the WordPress theme .pot file?

Hello! I'm having problems. Installed a new theme bought on Themeforest.net, I decided to make a translation.
In the theme directory there is a file with the name of the theme and with the extension .pot - below the original phrase in English, I write the Russian translation in quotation marks. But for some reason it doesn't work for translation. What is the problem?

pot is a kind of template, it is by no means edited, especially manually! For localization of topics, there is a wonderful plugin Loco Translate . It is even better than PoEdit in that the translation is carried out directly online - all changes are immediately visible.
