How to effectively implement a multilingual service?

Never made multilingual sites. Therefore, I wanted to know how this is usually implemented, the so-called. best practices. Just don't say that copies are made in different languages?

There is no ideal solution. Much depends on the task. For example, just making a multilingual interface is one thing. There you can store and load everything in JSON .js. And if you need to support pages in different languages, then this is a different task.

It is also worth noting that in different languages, different specifics, different slang, different culture, even the attitude to color is different.
For example, what is in English. language takes 5-8 characters, in Polish or even Russian it can be expressed in 15-20, or even in a few words.
And I still haven't touched on the subject of RTL (Right to Left, as in Hebrew, Arabic, etc. languages).
