Why does Win10 require the old password when logging in via remote desktop?
I need the help of the hall - I broke my head, trying to understand what was the matter.
I use remote desktop all the time to access my home computer. My computer is running Win10 with a Microsoft account. Some time ago, during a remote session, I changed the password through the Windows settings. Everything has changed, the entrance to Windows and other places (Skype, OneDrive, Outlook web interface, etc.) started working with a new password (say, foobar). Then I changed the password to the same account again, not through remote control, but I don’t remember exactly how - either through the same Windows settings, or through the web. The password has changed and works fine everywhere except RD. Remote desktop login still requires foobar's old password. I tried everything, but to no avail. I want something strange - so that the password in RD matches the password from the account and changes along with it.
