Why does Ubuntu freeze on SSD?
Hello!
PC Configuration:
CPU: AMD Phenom || x4 b60
GPU: NVIDIA GTX 650 Ti
RAM: 8 GB DDR3 1333 Team Elite
OS: Ubuntu 14.04
OS: Windows 10
and 2 Seagate HDDs (500 GB each)
+ 60GB SiliconPower V55 SSD.
The essence of the problem:
Previously, Ubuntu was on a regular HDD, everything worked fine, there were never any freezes.
Yesterday I bought an SSD, reinstalled Ubuntu, I hadn't even set up the whole environment yet, as it hung tightly. It happened 3 times in the evening. Twice when opening a tab in Chrome and once in settings.
The cursor moves, and everything else is like a screenshot.
Only reboot helps.
Question:
What could be the problem?
Has anyone had similar behavior?

Changing the video driver to NVIDIA 352.63 completely solved the problem.
It happens to me from time to time, I can not figure out the reasons.
Hanging when opening a tab in chrome is similar to my recent issue - Why is Chrome freezing Ubuntu?
