Why does Ubuntu 16.04 x64 internet crash periodically?
Hello! Such a question:
I go online via WiFi, since the PC is stationary, and there is no WiFi support in the network card, then I use the USB WiFi adapter TP-Link TL-WN822N . On Windows 7, the adapter did not fail, everything worked stably. After switching to Ubuntu 16.04 x64, the Internet began to disappear periodically (pages do not load, ping also reports that the requested resource is not available). At the same time, the indicator shows that there is a connection to the WiFi network. I solve the problem simply: I remove the adapter from the USB connector, and then insert it again. The problem is that 15-20 minutes after that, everything repeats itself, and the specified procedure has to be done again and again. I also noticed that the Internet (even stable) is a little more slow than on Windows 7.
How to set up a stable Internet connection so that nothing falls off?

I have a similar situation, only the wire falls off. Periodically, you have to manually re-establish the connection. Here are the possible causes and treatments.
And in my logs I found that the term for providing IP from DHCP is set to 2 hours. I tried now changed to reserve the IP address by poppy address, I'll see if it helps or not. If I don't forget, I'll post.
