Why does the video card reset frequencies on a laptop?

In the game, the percent heats up to 85, the mx330 video card to 78 and after a while the video card starts to reset the frequency to 300 for a couple of seconds, then it returns and this repeats every couple of minutes. Why?

I came here and was sure that it was you again. because the laptop is defective or it initially has a crappy cooling system. bring it to the service and wait for a response from there. look at tests online. Is there any throttling and what are the temperatures. Stop spamming already. I'm pretty sure that's how the manufacturer intended it to be. strangle afterburner and intel xtu. on Acer with i3 and mx300, a friend wrote that there is throttling and cpu and gpu. but there is 14 "and almost an ultrabook.

Well, if the laptop is not a gaming one, then of course at high loads in games it will run out of steam or at high loads under 100 anywhere. It is so clean for work most likely.
