Why does the system not see the connection of a second monitor through a VGA -> DVI adapter?
Good afternoon dear friends!
While assembling new hardware, I discovered that the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 SUPER video card has connectors for connecting monitors via HDMI and DVI-D. My second LG Flatron W1943C monitor is quite old and has a VGA cable, so I bought a brand new DVI-D to VGA adapter. The motherboard only has HDMI outputs.
After assembling the new hardware, I connected my main monitor via HDMI to the video card - everything takes off and is displayed beautifully. Next, I rolled up the latest versions of all existing drivers and tried to detect a second monitor connected via a DVI-D -> VGA adapter.
RESULT: Monitor displays "Power Saving Mode".
MY ATTEMPT TO SOLUTION THIS PROBLEM:
Then the pandemonium began with disconnection, connection, rollback, rollback, rollout of devices and their drivers.
I reset the BIOS, pulled everything out of the jar, swapped the RAM - this did not give any result, Windows 10 categorically does not see this monitor.
My guess is the adapter is not very good quality and it's easier to buy an HDMI -> VGA adapter.
The last hope for you, dear connoisseurs!
