Why does the screen freeze after buying a new video card?
Good day.
Today I purchased an ASUS nVidia GeForce GT 1030, PH-GT1030-O2G video card.
I inserted it into the PC case and installed the drivers from GeForce Expirience.
Firewood got up (sort of) and everything worked. After the reboot, I decided to try the video card on video rendering and after a minute or two the screen freezes, and instead of the music (which I turned on), noise was fed to the speakers. In no way did this miracle stop, after which I forcibly turned off the PC.
I tried the video card with games as well. In the same way: everything is fine for about 5 minutes, then the image hangs.
Before that, there were no such problems. On a processor with a built-in, I calmly rendered video and played.
Once, after the driver for the embed was updated, the screen hung in the same way during the game, but after the firewood was rolled back, everything was the same.
What could be the problem?
My hardware:
SEASONIC M12II-520 (SS-520GM), 520W power supply
ASROCK B250M-HDV, LGA 1151, Intel B250, mATX, Ret motherboard
CORSAIR Vengeance LPX CMK16GX4M2A2400C16 DDR4 - 2x 8GB 2400, DIMM, Ret
CPU INTEL Core i5 7600, LGA 1151 OEM
PS
I remembered that even on Ubuntu everything crashed for me so many times. Just like with a new video card.

I have not yet decided what the problem was, because after buying a new video card, the computer was buggy in the same way.
I sinned on RAM, I decided to take out one bar and see what happens. Fortunately, everything worked, the PC no longer crashed. The only problem is that now I have 8 GB less RAM ...
By the way, I should note that the problem is not in the RAM itself. Since the strips individually work fine and pass the memtest86 + test up to 4 checks (I didn’t test further)
I don’t know what’s going on, but I think it’s mother ...
Try to put firewood on a clean one in a new way, your probably the only chance to fix it)) And yes, it’s more like something with iron. Something may once have been similar, but only once, without repetition. Even as a vario, everything can be cleaned from dust, if there is one of course)) , take out the opera and blow the contacts well, as well as the PCI-E slot. In short, complete cleaning) I don’t know by what miracle, but I always had most of the problems on different computers solved by removing the opera and cleaning the contacts and slots) Take the Windows to the edge)) And it’s better to have everything in the complex, so you can say for sure that you did your best ))
Try to put the video card on another computer. If it happens again take it back to the store.
