Why does the MFP not print the image from the explorer?

Today I encountered such a problem: the MFP does not print an image from the explorer. I opened the image in a third-party program (Paint), sent it for printing - the printer printed the image. Before that, I printed a test print page. What could be the problem? HP Color LaserJet Pro M252 MFP, Windows 7.
