Why does the laptop not start on a new RAM?
Good day to all. I'm using an acer aspire 5745g laptop that initially costs 4 GB of RAM on two slots. I set the bar to 4 GB from Samsung and the laptop with it turns on by itself and turns off almost immediately, and so on again. A couple of times reached the striped screen. I changed the config, slots, nothing helped. Change the memory to hynix 4 GB with a frequency of 1600 MHz, the result is the same. The slats are 100% working, I checked it on the second laptop.
Returning back the native memory everything works.

I had an 8942g with exactly the same history. As I understand it, it was precisely the frequency of the RAM - with a higher one than supported, it stopped working. As a result, scored on the idea of expansion.
This is because of the frequency, I remember there was a laptop that supports 1333, set the die to 1600, and also turned off. I thought for a long time, according to the idea, the memory should work for lowered in this case, but it simply does not work. In general, you need to take DDR3-1066 memory, as indicated here .
Another problem may arise when the plates are not compatible, but the laptop will not turn off, but simply will not see a new plate, so I recommend taking it in your city so that you can return it.
