Why does the dock-panel jump between the external screen and the laptop screen?

Greetings dear ones!
I can't understand why this is happening. More specifically: The docking panel is located on the screen of the macbook itself, respectively, only the menu bar (top panel) and directly some program windows are displayed on the external monitor. But periodically the dock-panel jumps back and forth. I can't say what specific actions it is connected with. Just in the process of working in photoshop, illustrator, safari, etc.
Is it possible to somehow "stake out" this dock panel on one screen forever?
Thank you in advance!

Launch System Preferences, select the Mission Control and uncheck "Discrete Space Monitors".
After that, the Dock should always be located on the screen that it considers to be the main one. You can select the main one in Settings > Monitors > Location.

After a long struggle, I found the answer!
The panel moves if you lower the cursor all the way down the center of the screen and then try to swipe it down again. After that, the Docs panel emerges from there. It just works sometimes the first time, sometimes it doesn't.
Those. we move the cursor down until it hits the screen border, release it, and then, without raising it, we try to move it beyond the bottom border again. Again, it may not work the first time. Maybe there is some other detail.
