Why does the backlight of the laptop screen disappear after changing the resolution?

Hello. There is an ASUS laptop, the previous screen was broken, so I had to change it.
The new one has a strange problem. Sometimes, after changing the resolution, the screen backlight does not work. That is, I switch the resolution from 800x600 to 1920x1080 and there is a picture, but everything is very dark, only if you can see the picture with a flashlight. This problem occurs not only when the resolution is changed, but when the screen flashes, i.e. for example, I turn on the computer, that ASUS glows -> Windows will then be without backlight until you close it - open the laptop lid.

What to do? Screen doesn't fit? Or can something be configured somehow?
