Why does sound drop out on Linux Mint 19?

I have windows 10, linux mint 19.3 mate installed.
Sound built into the ASUS B85-PLUS motherboard

After one of the updates, approximately 2 months ago, the sound began to fall off when entering mint (it doesn’t matter if you reboot from Windows or just turn it on).
The behavior is strange, at first it fell off every other time, then it is stable when turned on, there is no sound. Moreover, in order for the sound to work, it is necessary to physically pull out the plug, regardless of whether the amplifier is turned on or not.

I tried to unscrew the sliders in alsamixer, reinstall the audio driver, nothing works.

@v1t3man

It turned out to be fixed after deleting the /home/user/.config/pulse and /home/user/.config/qt5st folders and then rebooting.
Thanks for the tip Vadim Spriggan
