How to use laptop microphone instead of headset?
Laptop, Win 10 Pro 1809
Realtek HD
There is a combo headphone jack with a microphone
When I plug in the headphones with a microphone everything works fine, the sound goes into the headphones and the microphone is detected by the headphones
I want to set the laptop's built-in microphone to default. So that when you connect headphones with a microphone, the sound goes through the headphones, and the microphone works from a Google laptop
, I could not find a solution. The main problem is that in the sound manager there is only "Realtek HD Microphone Set", regardless of whether I connected a headset or not . I
also did not find anything in the Realtek HD control panel. Can I
somehow change the value through the registry?
UPD: If you remove the Realtek driver, the standard Vinovsian one will get up. And already in the sound manager, two microphones / speakers appear, where you can select the default and everything will work as I want. But in this case, without Realtek firewood, the sound is kind of lousy and all sorts of noise reduction and other features do not work there. Is there a way without removing Realtek drivers?
