Why does OS X Mountain Lion change the order of desktops?
Good day to all!
It is known that in macOS each application can be linked to its desktop, this is very convenient. My browser is tied to the 1st desktop, Skype is 2, the development environment is 3.
And with the transition to the latest version of OS X, I began to notice that sometimes the order of the desktops changes. 1st always stands still, and 2 and 3 often change places and names (you get Skype in table 3, Wednesday - in table 2). And the feeling that they change in real time. It seems that Makos is trying to arrange them depending on which table I use more often, but so far it has not been possible to accurately reproduce.
Googling didn't work. Maybe someone came across? What can you suggest? Or it's bugging me.
In any case, thanks in advance for your advice!

He changes them depending on the frequency of use. Try unchecking "Automatically use last space location" in System Preferences - Mission Control
This can happen if you have expanded some application to full screen mode, then it occupies a separate desktop and other tables can be shifted.
Here is a detailed instruction on the example of OS X 10.10.3: hackintosh.su/how-to/poryadok-rabochix-stolov . I managed to fix it with the help of it.
It helped me too, thanks :-) By the way, they also changed in 10.7, and here they change, sometimes it hurts. Now everything will be fine.
d.pr/i/EfgN Friends, who can tell me what to do with programs deployed to full screen? When I start PHPStorm I would like it to hang like in the picture, but it always moves to the very end of the row.
And to the author! Previously, I did table layout like you, 1 browser, 2 instant messengers, 3 development environment. But this is not very convenient, since you always need to jump through messengers to the development environment, so I changed places 1 and 2, and from the browser to the left to talk, and to the right to work. Might be more convenient.
