Why does one company have so many different development teams of the same direction?

I'm new to IT, so the following layout is a little incomprehensible to me.
Let's say there is a certain large company Acme. On Headhunter and other similar sites, I often notice that Acme is looking for new front-end developers to join the staff due to the expansion of the company.
I also notice 2-3 large companies that develop software and who are proud of the fact that they have been developing software for Acme for 10 years now. And now they are looking for front-enders for Acme projects.
And about a dozen other small companies that also brag about the fact that they work closely with Acme and write to him front.

And if all these companies really cooperate with Acme on an ongoing basis, then why does Acme have so many disparate teams in one direction of development? I did not check, but probably the same with the direction of mobile development and with the back. And if Acme already has its own team and is expanding, then why does it need so many third-party teams?

It's simple - Acme may well have many different products developed by different teams.
This is fine. The division goes according to the product, and not in the direction (front / back).
But the situation when a company has one large front-end development team that serves the needs of the front-end in several products at once is already something strange.
Why they cooperate with a bunch of different outsourcing companies - who knows.
If Acme is a very large international company, then the various divisions should be treated as independent companies with their own management and funding.

- I often share large projects with other teams, this is why: if they ask me, say, 10 developers, I can give them for 1 project, but imagine what a risk it is for me if I don’t get paid on this project for the last month?
I'd rather sell 2 developers for 5 different projects and thus diversify my risk. So do other team leaders. So Vasya is recruited for projects from this team, Petya from that team.

What does one by one mean?
Ten different projects are ten front-end developers, or do you think one developer will pull ten projects?
