Did you have doubts about your profession?

If so, how often, and indeed, is it normal to doubt, or is it a sign that it's time to do something???
Like most people, I am a programmer.
Just looking at people who really love programming, who can sit at the monitor for hours, who devote a lot of time to code, who quickly delve into ...
In short))) Doubts is it normal or is it trouble?

Worked for a car manufacturer, rose to SrDBA in 3.5 years. The money was still not paid enough, they added rubbish stupid tasks that were not related to my main activity. It was terribly infuriating, every day I got up for work with the thought "why the hell do I need this." I decided to leave, I was looking for another place, they called for the position of an engineer, I thought about it, I agreed, I wrote a statement.
The next day, the head of the project team approached me and offered me a job as a project manager with him. I then refused, because. signed an offer and dreamed of a new job.
For almost a year and a half I have been working in a new place, but I constantly think: "What if I agreed?"
Well, this is the past, it makes no sense to think about it.
And at work every day there are doubts that I will not pull this task, this project, this technology.
Came, absolutely did not know how to write scripts, from the word "no way". Every day, poking around in vime, I freaked out, thinking "I'm a sucker and a moron, I can't do anything, I just left in vain."
Now I was promoted to Sr Engineer in a year and set the task of automating all tasks using Ansible.
Now every day I read manuals, watch webinars, sip playbooks and think "I'm a sucker and a moron, I can't do anything, I just took it in vain."
At one time, one smart engineer said a very correct thought: "Working in IT is when you always know nothing, and the more you know, the more you don't know."
Topicstarter, if your current job bothers you and you're not sure if you get high and micro-orgasms from it, try freelancing in another area as a hobby. Try to write blogs, smmmchik, design.
Already in the process you will understand what you like more.
There will always be doubts, especially if you are a perfectionist.

Well, you are a good programmer, you earn, say, 10 thousand dollars a month by working full-time.
Why would you doubt that?
Well, if in doubt, get two or three young girls and you will have no time to doubt.

Doubt is normal or is it a problem?

A programmer who has no doubts is usually a shit))

All the time I think that it was necessary to go to some ecologists or zoologists. To spend more time outdoors, and not the whole day behind the monitor.

Doubt is normal. Sooner or later, they arise in everyone who is not rushing from their work. Just not everyone has the courage to admit it to themselves. And this comes from the fact that from childhood everyone is taught the idea that work is just a severe necessity. And she only needs to get money. And this is not so.
These doubts are a sign that it's time for you to change something. If you do not listen to this signal, further, more and more distinct ones will follow.

Lol. Capitalism is a factory, but the state does not provide you with salaries and vacations (the will of the employer for everything). Nobody gives any guarantees, ever. Either you are screwed, or you are screwed.
