Open the process monitor and see what your processor is most stressed about.
Try the SmcFanControl utility. With its help, you can forcefully set the operating modes of the Mac cooler
On my MacBook Air Mid 2013, for about $1300, a similar situation was when:
1. a bunch of tabs were opened in the browser, something was considered in the background and a track was rendered in Ableton;
2. With the active use of the Finder, one of the services crashed and loaded the percent into the ceiling.
If you find out what exactly you are loading, then it is likely that you will quickly find how to fix it, or it will fix itself, as in my case, since all the proposed solutions did not fit :)
I have the same one as you. The keyboard does not get very hot, but the place is closer to the screen, yes ...
It gets terribly hot from the tabs, the onetab browser plugin saves.
I don't use Mozilla (the beech just gets killed by it with 3 tabs) - I don't understand why.
Plus, the use of a stand (sometimes I just take a big book)
And there is also a program for monitoring the temperature
there is a program to turn off a powerful vidyuhi in many cases helps
