Why does Magic mouse lose connection?

Magic mouse loses connection to macbook every 5 minutes. At first it starts to move intermittently, then even worse, then it does not react at all. After turning it on and off it works fine. In my office, I tried to turn off routers and other devices one by one - it does not help. Macbook is connected to the router via Wifi 5GHz. I changed the batteries, cleaned the contacts with an eraser (I read it somewhere on the forums).
Could it be that Wifi from a neighboring office interferes?

Does this only happen in the office? Do you see this problem at home?
