Why does it sometimes return back when using the mouse?

I bought a new mouse and now when working with it, and especially when typing in Notepad ++ and in the browser inspector, it periodically returns back to its original position, to the previous page.

Perhaps your browser uses mouse movements.
Or the laptop driver perceives mouse movements as a "swipe back".
