Why does a properly configured network interface only start after a system reboot?
Good evening!
On CentOS 7 I set up an interface with a static ip-address, I set it up absolutely correctly and I'm sure of it. After that I do:
# ifup enp0s3 down
# ifup enp0s3 up
But the interface does not get an ip address. After reboot everything works. What else needs to be done, in addition to the above commands, so that the interface rises without rebooting the entire system?
